Dr. Carol Turley is a Senior Scientist at the Plymouth Marine Laboratory. Her research focuses mainly on the ocean’s biogeochemical cycles. During the last decade, she focused on ocean acidification and led the UK Government review on how changes in the pH level impacts the marine environment. She was also a lead author on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) (2007).

Rob Stewart is the Director, Producer and Filmmaker behind the award-winning documentaries Sharkwater, which changed the way people around the world view sharks; and Revolution, about saving humanity and protecting the environment from threats such as carbon pollution that causes ocean acidification and climate change.
